This course will analyze the role that Art and Design has played historically to raise awareness on social and ethical issues. Through the analysis of various ethical theories in relationship to design, students will learn to analyze and discuss the role that Design plays in our current Visual Culture. Through working with Adobe Flash Professional students will apply an ethical perspective to explore a social issue. Students will use imagery, motion and sound to communicate a current issue that relates to ethics, social change and/or social responsibility.
