Students will learn how to utilize financial concepts and practice within a software framework. Core concepts are drawn from corporate finance, investments, and financial institutions and markets. Examples of topics include: financial statement forecasting and consolidation, mergers and acquisitions, statistical approaches in finance, the Capital Asset Pricing Model, portfolio analysis, predictive models of different risk categories, bond and stock valuation, and market interest rate behavior.
