Prerequisite: ENGL 121 This course will be an introduction to research skills used in the field of psychology. Students will learn to use primary and secondary sources as well as psychology journals, indexes, and databases as needed for psychology research papers as well as participating in activities that are required to think critically within the discipline of psychology. Exposure to current trends within the field of psychology will be part of the student experience. Psychology majors will begin the process of senior portfolio development. This course fulfills the requirement for UNIV 201: Research in an Academic Discipline as specified in SWAU's Quality Enhancement Plan.
