Prerequisite: READ 0301 (R1); ENGL 0301 (W2); MATH 0303 (M2) Prerequisite: Enrollment in the EMS-Paramedic program and successful completion of first and second semester courses. Co-requisites: EMSP 2348, EMSP 2260 Assessment and management of patients with cardiac emergencies. Includes basic dysrhythmia interpretation, recognition of 12-lead EKG's for field diagnosis, and electrical and pharmacological interventions. Sophomore literature courses do not have to be taken in a particular sequence. The second half of a survey course may be taken prior to the first half, or a student may choose to take any one course from a two-course survey.
