A detailed study of the knowledge and skills necessary to reach competence in the assessment and management of patients with cardiac emergencies. Upon successful completion of this course, EMSP 2434, EMSP 1167, EMSP 2330, EMSP 2143 and EMSP 1268, students will be eligible to take the exam to be certified as an EMT-P by the Texas Department of Health and/or National Registry of EMT.
