Includes all the skills necessary to provide emergency medical care at a basic life support level with an ambulance service or other specialized services. Upon successful completion of this course and EMSP 1160, students are eligible to take the exam to be certified as an EMT-Basic by the Texas Department of Health and/or National Registry of EMT.
