Optional laboratory to accompany Astronomy 1010. Illustrates concepts of practical astronomy such as measuring planetary rotation rate and mass, using telescopes, deep sky observation session. Spring semester. Two hours per week. Corequisite: ASTR 1010 or approval of the head of the department. Laboratory/studio course fee will be assessed.
