In addition, the students will create an actual business plan and have the opportunity of experiencing the many phases of business development as the business plan is implemented. An introductory study of operations management as a major functional area of manufacturing and service industries. The course covers the major decision areas of process, capacity, inventory, work force and quality through the application of management concepts and quantitative analysis.
