Capstone practicum, in a precepted setting, that provides opportunities to synthesize and apply knowledge and skills necessary to function as a beginning professional nurse. Emphasis is on the application of evidence-based knowledge in planning, delivering and evaluating nursing practice consisting of 126 hours of practicum. Pass/Fail credit. Prerequisites: NURS U410, U410P/U412P, U425, U430, U441, U441P/U442P. Prerequisites or Corequisites: NURS U450, U450P/U451P, U461, U461P/U471P, U497.

Introduction to the main problems of philosophy and its methods of inquiry, analysis and criticism. Works of important philosophers are read.

The works, figures, and theories in political philosophy. Topics include the nature and justification of political power, authority, justice, equality, rights, and freedom.
