This course concentrates on the common and statutory law of the employment relationship excluding labor law. This course is designed to give a broad overview of the state and federal laws, which prohibit employment discrimination on the basis of race, sex, age, national origin, religion and handicapping conditions. The legal responsibilities to non-profit volunteers are discussed. Prerequisite: BUS 302 or consent of instructor.
