BUS 199: Non-Traditional Credit and the Adult Learner

An exploration of the wide variety of traditional credit systems available in today’s world of higher education. Students are introduced to the PLA (Prior Learning Assessment) system, where a portfolio of individual essays is evaluated for college credit, the evaluation system for military training, the College Level Exam Program (CLEP), and the evaluation of professional training programs.
