Offers students the opportunity to explore the topic of conflict through a biblical, theological, and social scientific lens. Using biblical text, related topical readings, and conflict theory, the course examines intrapersonal conflict, interpersonal conflict, and conflict between humans and God. The course also provides students the opportunity to explore a variety of conflict mediation and negotiation skills aimed at developing just and transformative relationships for life in a complex world. Fulfills requirement of a 400-level theology course and either a social science or upper-division College of Arts and Sciences elective. Fulfills the requirements of CST 416.
