On the prosecution side, the student will learn the differences between a misdemeanor and a felony, how to put together a case, when to file the action and what information it will take to prosecute the individual. On the defense side, the student will learn about the various motions, which can be used to produce discovery in a case and how to defend against an action. Three lecture hours a week.
