This course is designed specifically for special seminars, special studies, special interests, and other special projects/events/activities related to Animal Science. May be taken more than once. Prerequisite: None. This course consists of the principles, methods, and techniques of communicating manually with the deaf. Emphasis will be on developing manual communication skills, a basic vocabulary in American Sign Language and an understanding of the basic grammatical principles of American Sign Language. An introduction to banking in today's economy, the language and documents of banking, check processing, teller functions, trust services, bank bookkeeping and bank loans and investments will be covered. Prerequisite: None. This course includes the preparation and use of forms and checklists for causes of action and procedures. These items will be applied to actual legal problems. Emphasis will be given to learning legal terminology, to client interviews and methods of extracting relevant information from them.
