Network technologies that support system integration of process/manufacturing automation, building automation (smart buildings), environment management, as well as energy management and electricity systems automation (smart grid systems). Hardware and software, including NetDDE, OPC, and SCADA Systems comprising the infrastructure of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) ad Industry 4.0. IIoT infrastructure components such as Artificial Intelligence based control systems, wireless technology in automation systems, safety systems, and organizational approach to automation.
