Introduction and investigation of advanced topics in choreography including but not limited to dance and technology, directing ensemble dance, and dance and the narrative. This course work is explored in the format of in-studio practicum and lecture, discussion, and peer and instructor review of student generated work. Structured studies will be developed under instructor supervision; students will be required to dedicate time and energy in the studio outside of class meetings to develop choreography studies for in-class presentation and review.
