Topics include engine instruments and fi re protection, electrical, lubrication, fuel, ignition, starting, and fuel metering systems. Prerequisite: AVI 110 Corequisite: None This fi nal course in the powerplant series covers engine systems and components; propellers and unducted fans; and induction, airfl ow, cooling, exhaust, and reverser systems. The course culminates with engine inspections. The student should be prepared to pass the applicable portions of the knowledge, oral, and practical exams for the powerplant rating at the completion of this course. (S.)

Prerequisite: None Corequisite: None This course covers the fundamental and principle concepts of human anatomy and physiology and microbiology. Topics include an introduction to the structure and function of cells, tissues, and human organ systems, and an overview of microbiology, epidemiology, and control of microorganisms.
