This course is designed to integrate biological, psychological, and socioeconomic knowledges that impact on the care of people in later life. Special emphasis will be given to aging as the sum total of changes that occur with the passage of time, including internal and external stressors and adaptive capacities. In addition, Nursing majors are required to take Communication 101: Dynamics of Speech (Nursing majors only) for 1 credit. This course is taken concurrently with Nursing 208 (1 credit).
