Study of parasites of man and other animals. Includes study of the life cycles. Emphasis is on morphologic identification of ova and parasites and laboratory techniques in the medical lab. 2 Class Hours, 0.5 Laboratory Hours per day.

Fundamentals of virology including structure, classification and pathogenesis, and laboratory techniques. 2 Class Hours, 4 Laboratory Hours per day.

To develop an understanding of the pathogenic fungi commonly found in allied health facilities. Emphasis will be on identification, epidemiology, and laboratory procedures. 2 Class Hours, I Laboratory Hour per day.

Principles of managing a medical laboratory. Presented in the clinical laboratory. Emphasis on organization theory, human relations, interpersonal communications, and business ethics. Introduction to educational theories, methods and evaluation tools. Emphasis is on creating objectives and evaluations. 10 Total Class Hours.

Presents a comprehensive overview of the music therapy profession along with current professional issues. Investigates populations most frequently served and other important clinical groups. Involves field trips for observation and clinical experiences.
