It commences with a review of intermediate algebra concepts and progresses through subject matter within college algebra. Topics to be covered include algebra and problem solving, factoring techniques, linear functions and inequalities, systems of linear equations, polynomials, polynomial functions, rational expressions and functions, radicals, radical functions, rational exponents, imaginary and complex numbers, quadratic equations and functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, graphing techniques and analysis (3 Credits).

This course introduces descriptive and inferential statistics with an emphasis on techniques and applications to real-world situations. Topics include descriptive statistics, statistical distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, contingency tables, regression, and correlation (3 credits). Prerequisite: MAT 115 or MAT 120
