    This course is designed to assist the teacher in developing educational experiences in the arts within the contexts of art criticism, art history, the humanities, and aesthetic experience. Emphasis is placed upon the ways critical, historical and other forms of inquiry (e.g. philosophical, sociological, and psychological) can be used to extend an understanding of the arts, aesthetic experience, and their relationship to society.
