AUTO 1180: Fuel Systems and Carburetion

Prerequisite: None Th is course will enable the student to understand all types of fuel systems. Th e class will include rebuilding of one-barrel, two-barrel and four-barrel carburetors. Th is class will also cover electrical and mechanical fuel pumps. Th e computer controlled systems using both carburetors and fuel injection will be covered in depth. Special tools needed to trouble-shoot modern systems will be used. Infra-red exhaust testing and emission controls are stressed in the class.
