Th ese internship programs provide students valuable hands-on learning experiences in aspects of the operations of assigned partners. Th rough this internship, students receive academic credit that may be applied toward a Journalism degree, or a related discipline. Th is internship program off ers students the opportunity to apply information from classes to real-life experiences. Students are able to explore career opportunities and gain practical work experience that can be invaluable in the job market, especially if the student intends to pursue a career in journalism upon graduation.
