Seminar focuses upon legal and ethical aspects of managing human resources. Major legislative statutes, administrative regulations, and judicial decisions will be surveyed. Topics will include unions, equal employment opportunity, testing standards, workmen's compensation and other topics of current interest. Special emphasis given to the role of psychology in applying legal standards in human resources management. A short review of grantsmanship will be presented. Spring semester.
