Experience is gained in the rural school setting (one to four teacher schools) prior to student teaching. The desired goals are observing and assisting the classroom teacher while gaining knowledge of the workings of a rural school. Placement will depend upon interest of student and permission from the host school. This course can be used to fulfill part of the requirements of EDUC 320.
