This course provides opportunities for students to have handson experiences with multiple high- and low-technology communication devices. Devices and materials are available for class participants to manipulate. This course will also provide theories of language and communication for typical students and definitions of interventions for those students who do not have typical communication development. This course will progress from a philosophical presentation of information to hands-on learning opportunities.
