This six-hour continuing education (6 CE) course is designed for the licensed massage therapist. This course covers the basics of providing oncology massage to individuals with active cancer, as well as those who are survivors. Topics covered: defining cancer, understanding the lymphatic system, chemical response versus mechanical response and Walton???s pressure scale. Students also engage in role-play activities designed to help them interact with patients.

This six-hour (6CEU) course incorporates basic reflexology techniques that a licensed massage therapist can incorporate into their massage practice. Reflexology is the ancient art and science of using pressure points (reflexes) on the feet. Acting as a powerful therapeutic technique, Reflexology aids in circulation, body detoxification, and immune and nervous systems functioning. It also helps calm the emotions and assist in the release of tension.

This 30 hour course is made up of five (6 ceu courses) Is day will focus on specific knowledge, assessment skills and treatment techniques that will provide a licensed massage therapist with a thorough knowledge base of orthopedic massage. This course will consist of Muscle Energy Techniques, Treatment of Cervical, Shoulder, , lumbar and hip, knee and ankle. Each class will focus on anatomy review, palpation assessment and treatment.

Provides those individuals who completed an accredited 600-hour minimum Massage Therapy program and were unsuccessful at passing the state licensing exam or need a refresher course prior to taking the state licensing exam, Massage & Bodywork Licensing exam (MBLEx)

Focuses on the current research within the field of addiction. This course addresses the recovery process as well as the following domains: Recovery Management, Education and Advocacy, and Professional Ethics. This course is for those who are in recovery and family members affected by addiction.

Prepares individuals to act as an end-of-life caregiver for individuals who are terminally ill or dying, a supporter to their caregivers, while staying within the System of operation (SOP) of their profession. This 30 hour course teaches participants the role a palliative caregiver plays during this time, as well as the hospice philosophy of care and support. Individuals are ready to sit for the National End of Life Doula (NELD) certification exam after completing this course. Also, this training meets and exceeds the recommendations and guidelines put forth by the Medicare Conditions of Participation (CoPs) and the training recommendations offered by The National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO). Participants in this course must be over 18 years old.

The Birthing Doula is a professional trained in childbirth who provides emotional, physical, and educational support to a mother who is expecting, is experiencing labor, or has recently given birth. To help women have a safe, memorable, and empowering birthing experience. students are trained to become a birthing doula. Course work includes the female reproductive system, fetal development, pregnancy safety, stages of labor and developing a birth plan. Registration requirements: High school diploma or Equivalency, 18 years of age.

Presents mindfulness-based skills to a Licensed Massage Therapist, which can help potentiate their therapeutic competence by incorporating techniques based on Tragerwork principles. This course allows the therapist an opportunity to engage in guided practice under supervision. Application of such skills aims to stimulate the brain's neuroplasticity, introduce new neural sensory information, and activate positive neuromuscular changes in clients. Inherent to the skills is support to the therapist's own self-care. Prerequisite: Must be a licensed massage therapist to enroll in this course.

Reviews the major muscle anatomy and the kinesiology associated with the muscle group. This Course is designed for licensed massage therapist who desire a review course. LMT's who complete the course will receive . two Continuing Education Units (CEU's).

This interactive, fast-paced one-day course covers cancer massage research, myths and facts, precautions, contraindications, considerations, safety for the therapist and the client, medication guidelines, and how the mind-body connection is vital in this work Safety techniques for lymph node removal, neuropathy and touch for the medically frail, as well as draping and positioning, are presented and demonstrated. This 8-hour continuing education (CE) class is designed for licensed massage therapist.
