Topics include global education systems, historic and modern family configurations, and the effects a child's home culture has on learning aptitudes and educational expectations. The impact of special needs on families and family-partnerships is also covered. Prerequisite: EDUC 110 or 111 with a grade of C or higher and eligibility for enrollment into ENGL 101.
