Oxygen acetylene welding will be reviewed, however, the focus is on Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), more commonly known as stick welding. Students will learn how to set up a SMAW system, operate it, and make adjustments for a variety of conditions that welders encounter. Coaching and hands-on practice are offered for skill development. Basic welding supplies are included in the tuition.
