Designed to prepare the aspiring and practicing school administrator for the responsibilities of financial management at the central office level of leadership in public schools. Includes theoretical concepts and practical skills necessary for successful school administration in the realm of finance. Emphasis on building budgets using state, local, and federal funds. Prerequsite: Admittance to the graduate program Specialist level.

Designed to provide advanced Specialist students with an opportunity to gain relevant experience in school administration. Students seeking an initial certification and four hours credit enroll in EA 760. For students seeking certification renewal or advanced certification, the EA 761 option is for students who completed 600 clock hours of relevant internship (Master's level), and the three hours of credit for EA 762 in required of a student who completed 600 clock hours of internship. Those seeking multiple certifications will probably need at at least 6 credit hours. Prerequisite(s): Students must have been admitted to the program. (EA 760-4 credit hours, EA 761-3 credit hours, EA 762-3 credit hours)

Incorporates and explores efforts initiated by private, state, and federal educationally related entites and agencies, professional leadership organizations, professional leadership academics, and grant activities designed for school improvement. Prerequiste(s): The student must have a teaching certification and be admitted to the Masters in School Administration Program. (1-3 hours of credit)

This course provides school district administrators the fundmental concepts of planning, designing and constructing new educational facilities and/ or the rehabilitation, remodeling or modernization of existing facilities. Additionally, the course includes operation and maintenance programs. Prerequiste(s): Admission to a Specialist in Educational Administration degree program. (3 credit hours)

Completion of specialist administration core courses: EA 707, EA 709, EA 710, EA 737, EA 743, EA 755, EA756 EA 760, EA 767, EA 781, or EF 690, 694; EA 785.
