The internship for childcare workers is limited to those students who are concurrently enrolled in, or have already completed, HUSR 463 Preparation for Child Care Work. This course meets the clinical requirements for basic childcare certification. The internship is agency and requires students to complete the basic orientation process of the agency to which they are assigned. Missouri Baptist University has cooperative arrangement with Missouri Baptist Children's Home for the child care internship. Students may complete the internship at another agency if it has been approved by the internship coordinator at Missouri Baptist University. One hundred fifty clock hours are required for the 3-hour internship. Prerequisite(s): Junior standing or consent of the instructor. Three Hours, On Demand
