This theory course is a detailed study of pathophysiology of adult patients. Students use their knowledge of normal physiology. Sensory, neurological, musculoskeletal, integumentary, hematologic, lymphatic, immune and infectious disease disorders are studied. Course topics also include fluid/electrolyte imbalance, pain management, pre- and post-operative care, oncology and gerontology.
