Teachers who participate in the San Marcos Writing Project summer institute spend five weeks sharing best practice in the teaching of writing, reading and discussing relevant literature and becoming more competent writers themselves. They also write daily on the computer, learn how to present using software like power point, establish web sites and use additional technologies that assist them in the teaching of writing. May not be taken for credit by students who have received credit for EDUC E593S. Enrollment restricted to students who have obtained consent of instructor. Prerequisite: EDUC 618.
