Students study the fundamental principles, knowledge, and skills of accident prevention, examination procedures and first aid care for victims of accidents or sudden illness before medical assistance is available. Current American Heart Association materials are used for First Aid, and adult, child and infant AED, and CPR training. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive an American Heart Association Health Care Provider CPR (BLS) certification card and American Heart Association Heart Saver First Aid certification card.
