    Geographic information system (GIS) technology allows users to combine tabular information with maps, creating powerful spatial databases which display and query information in new ways. This course will teach general GIS and GPS skills and concepts, useful to students and practitioners in a variety of disciplines. Students will complete a final GIS project relevant to their field of study.
