TA 340 - This course extends the beginning director's experience in theater.While studying directing from a variety of historical and theoretical perspectives, each student directs, designs, and presents a one-act play or original theater piece in performance. She addresses problems relevant to planning, management, and administration.

- The student learns the basic components of fitness and the value of exercise in her daily life. She also develops a personal fitness plan.

This course emphasizes the development of the basic skills and team systems necessary to participate in and enjoy the game of volleyball. The student also learns about volleyball equipment, rules, and officiating.

The student is introduced to basic stroke techniques, serving styles, rules, and game strategies used in badminton.

- The beginning coach learns how to structure a practice, create a conditioning program, scout opponents, and explore coaching philosophies.

- The studentlearns the basics of golf, including rules of the game, scorekeeping, etiquette, and play. She must have her own golf clubs and is responsible for admission fees to local courses.

- This course includes basic information, presented in a nonjudgmental way, about experiences that are common to female college students. Topics include creating a game plan that you can stick to (academic, personal, work, wellness, social), managing personal finances, building a support network, availing yourself of campus and community resources, and making good decisions.

- The student uses the Bosu ball to get a full-body workout that includes cardio, toning, and balance. No experience necessary.
