Students will also learn how to teach the ethical use of information in the service of evaluating information and creating new knowledge, and how to assess their teaching and student learning.     The course examines descriptive cataloging, classification, and subject analysis. This includes the selection and processing of print and non-print materials. Particular emphasis will be placed on the organization and access of information in a school library environment. The course examines financial and selection evaluation criteria to develop, curate, organize, and manage a library collection based on data, budget, and student needs.
