This course encompasses a study of relations and functions, inequalities, factoring, polynomials, rational expressions, and quadratics with an introduction to complex numbers, exponential and logarithmic functions, matrices and determinants, and sequences and series. Prerequisite: Appropriate Placement Scores.

Five hours per week--Developmental course reviewing arithmetic, operations with real numbers, solving equations and inequalities, exponents and polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, graphing linear equations, roots and radicals, and word problems. Students will receive credit for MATH0302 or 0312, but not both. These courses have the same curriculum. Prerequisite: MATH0300 or 0301 or qualifying THEA (or alternative)math test scores.

Study of equations and functions including linear, quadratic, polynomial, rational, exponential, and logarithmic; inequalities; systems of equations; determinants; sequences. (For non-math/science majors). Prerequisites: Math 0303, appropriate placement test score, or TSI complete.
