The first semester of intermediate Spanish will continue to strengthen the four language skills with added emphasis on reading and writing. Students will focus on the following communicative goals: describing, comparing, reacting and recommending, and narrating about the past. Students attend two one-hour fundamentals classes plus three one-hour practice sessions per week. Computer, video and audio assignments in the Foreign Language Teaching Technology Center are required. Four credits per term. All classes are conducted in Spanish. Prerequisite: C- or better in SPAN 1402.
