This clinical course correlates with our Advanced Nursing Skills and Medical/Surgical Nursing II. The acute hospital setting provides the opportunities for our students to further develop their handson clinical skills as well as to enhance their practice and skill in using the nursing process in this more fast-paced nursing environment. In addition to the hospital medical/surgical units, students will have rotations through the Minor Care Clinic, doctors' offices, and hospital special care units such as the emergency room, intensive care units, operation room, and post-anesthesia care unit.
