This course provides a strong emphasis on algebraic skills and concepts of the numbers of ordinary arithmetic and their properties; integers and rational numbers; polynomials in one or more variables; factoring; fractional expressions; solving systems of equations; graphs of linear equations; solving radical, linear and quadratic equations; inequalities; sets; and applied problems. This course prepares students to take MATH 330 or MATH 1332 when completed with a grade of "C" or higher. May not be applied toward a certificate or degree at Lee College. Also, a strong emphasis on algebraic skills and concepts of the real number system, solving equations and inequalities, exponents and polynomials, factoring, rational expressions, graphing linear equations, linear systems, roots and radicals, quadratic equations and applied problems. This course prepares students to take MATH 330 or MATH 530, when completed with a grade of "C" or higher. May not be applied toward a certificate or degree at Lee College.
