This course provides a strong emphasis on algebraic skills and concepts of the numbers of ordinary arithmetic and their properties; integers and rational numbers; polynomials in one or more variables; factoring; fractional expressions; solving systems of equations; graphs of linear equations; solving radical, linear and quadratic equations; inequalities; sets; and applied problems. This course prepares students to take MATH 330 or MATH 1332 when completed with a grade of "C" or higher. May not be applied toward a certificate or degree at Lee College.
