Skills in reading and writing basic music notation are developed. Fourpart harmony, non-harmonic tones, seventh chords and modulation are studied and correlated with ear training, keyboard harmony and sight-singing. Concurrent enrollment in MUSI 1116/1117 is required. Prerequisite for MUSI 1312: MUSI 1311 with a grade of "C" or better.
