    Innovation and Entrepreneurship - Three semester hours The study of Entrepreneurship has classically focused on start-up and small business ventures. 21st century businesses, start-ups or existing, must encourage and incorporate entrepreneurial cultures in order to sustain growth and presence in rapidly changing global market environments. The entrepreneurial culture incorporates innovation, entrepreneurship, and management philosophy. This course addresses innovation in small and existing businesses; starting and operating new ventures; entrepreneurial organizations; components of comprehensive business plans and feasibility studies; processes of opportunity recognition; entrepreneurial innovation and creativity; and, the differences between intrapreneurship and entrepreneurship. %

Specifically, the course will address the role of identifiable leader behaviors along two primary facets: 1) individual, group, and organizational motivation, morale, performance, satisfaction, and commitment; and 2) successful organizational change management and transformation. %

    Global Strategic Management - Three semester hours This course provides a study of strategy formation and implementation issues from a top-management, long-term, integrating viewpoint. Study of the strategy formation and implementation processes will be supplemented with readings to provide an opportunity to examine major concepts and developments in the field. Cases will be used to provide opportunities to make application to current organizational situations including global and ethical issues. %
