Basic principles involved in all diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures normally found in a nuclear medicine facility with emphasis on anatomy, physiology, pathology, radiopharmaceutical, instrumentation, data analysis and diagnostic value. Includes the cardiovascular, genitourinary, respiratory systems and miscellaneous procedures. Prerequisites: NMTT 2305, BIOL 2401, 2402. Assessment Levels: R3, E3, M3.

A study of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations pertinent to the construction industry. Assessment Levels: R1, E1, M1.

A study of the Occupational Safety and Health Act, cost analysis of accidents, records and recordkeeping, reporting, job safety analysis and fundamentals of safety training. An introduction to OSHA's General Industry Standards and an overview of the more frequently cited violations in recent years. Assessment Levels: R1, E1, M1.

An experience external to the College for an advanced student in a specialized field involving a written agreement between the educational institution and a business or industry. Mentored and supervised by a workplace employee, objectives are developed and documented by the College and directly related to specific occupational outcomes. This may be a paid or unpaid experience. May be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. Prerequisite: Permission of instructor. Assessment Levels: R1, E1, M1.
