Study of the many facets of quality standards and methodologies in the health information management environment. Topics include licensing, accreditation, compilation and presentation of data in statistical formats, quality improvement functions, quality tools, utilization management, risk management and medical staff data quality issues. Study of the intelligence community. Includes the role of intelligence and law enforcement. Topics include collection methods, cycle, management operations, classification, production and analysis, assessment of targets and assessment of threat vulnerability. A study of the concepts that serve as the foundation for health profession courses, including client care and safety issues, basic client monitoring and introduction to health documentation methods used by health care providers.
