Two hours credit. Introduction to the engineering profession, ethics and disciplines in engineering; introduction to engineering analysis, and solution of science and engineering problems. Two lecture hours each week. Co-requisite: ENGR 2104. Prerequisite or co-requisite: MATH 1316.

An introductory course including the use of instruments, computer graphics, geometrical construction, orthographic projections, auxiliaries, sections, dimensioning, axonometric projection, threads, and descriptive geometry applications. Two lecture and four lab hours each week. Lab fee.

A course involving the principles and application of orthographic projections, including space relation of points, lines, and planes; true length lines in space, intersection and development of space surfaces and curved surfaces; vectors, shades, and shadows. Two lecture and four lab hours each week. Prerequisite: DFTG 1410. Lab fee.
