One hour credit. Practicum in theatre with emphasis on technique and procedures with experience gained in play productions including design, construction, and running crews. May be repeated for credit, but not more than four semester hours total may be counted toward graduation. Required each semester of all theatre majors. Three lab hours each week. Lab fee.

One hour credit. An introduction to basic noninvasive vascular theories. Emphasizes image orientation, transducer handling, and identification of anatomic structures. Sixteen class room hours. Prerequisites: DMSO2342 and 2260. Lab fee.

Three hours credit. History, development, and application of macroeconomic theory underlying the production, distribution, and exchange of goods and services including the utilization of resources, analysis of value and prices, national income analysis, fiscal policies, monetary and banking theory and policy, distribution of income, labor problems, international economics, and economic systems. Attention is given to the application of economic principles to economic problems. Prerequisite: sophomore standing or approval of Division Director. Three lecture hours each week.

Attention is given to the application of economic principles to economic problems. Prerequisite: sophomore standing and ECON 2301 or approval of Division Director. Three lecture hours each week.

Three hours credit. An integrated pre-service course which provides active recruitment and institutional support for students interested in a teaching career. Opportunities will be provided to participate in field observations at all levels of P-12 with diverse student populations. Culture of schools and the classroom will be included. Includes a 16 hour lab component which must be in P-12 schools. Three hours lecture and weekly lab hours. Lab fee.

3.00 Credits
Three hours credit. A pre-service course providing an overview of schools and classrooms from the perspectives of language, gender, socioeconomic status, ethnic and academic diversity. Emphasis is given to factors that facilitate learning in diverse populations. Early field observations of P-12 special populations will be required involving 16 hours of lab work which must be in special populations in P-12 schools. Three hours lecture and weekly lab hours. Prerequisite: EDUC 1301. Lab fee.

3.00 Credits
Three hours credit. A comprehensive overview of safety rules and regulations and the selection, inspection, use, and maintenance of common tools for electricians. The student will explain electrical hazards and how to avoid them in the workplace; discuss safety issues concerning lockout/tagout procedures; and demonstrate safe work habits using common hand and power tools for electricians. Three lecture hours each week.

Four hours credit. An overview of the theory and practice of electrical circuits including calculations as applied to alternating and direct current. The student will explain atomic structure and basic values such as voltage, current, resistance, and power; determine electrical values for combination circuits in direct current (DC) and alternating current (AC) containing resistance, inductance, and capacitance; summarize the principles of magnetism; calculate voltage drop based on conductor length, type of material, and size; and utilize electrical measuring instruments. Prerequisites or concurrent enrollment in MATH 0320 or TECM 1341 and REDG 0310. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Lab fee.

4.00 Credits
Four hours credit. Instruction in wiring methods used for single family, two family, and multi-family dwellings. The student will compute the circuit size needed for the installation of branch circuits, feeders, and service entrance conductors; explain the proper installation of wiring devices according to electrical codes; demonstrate grounding methods; install ground fault circuits; and identify residential wiring methods. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Lab fee.

4.00 Credits
Four hours credit. Instruction in motor control fundamentals and control wiring in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC). Skill development in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of various control circuits. The student will state the purpose and general principles of electrical motor control; explain the principles of operation of manual motor starters; use electrical symbols in drawing schematics and wiring diagrams; describe how pilot devices control motors; and connect across the line starters with motors. Three lecture and two lab hours each week. Prerequisite: ELPT 2405. Lab fee.
