A survey of the components of information systems, types of information systems and strategies for information systems analysis and design, implementation and management. A focus on management considerations of information technology, including microcomputers, in the business environment. Students will prepare projects involving hands-on learning of simple decision support, data base, and transaction processing systems. Prerequisites: ACT 132 and BUS 131.

A two semester course which presents a systematic study of the important classes or organic compounds, both aliphatic and aromatic.
