MATH 466: Projective Geometry
3.00 Credits
Northern State University
Concepts of invariants of binary forms, cross ratio, fixed points, and polar forms are used to study the projective geometry of the line. These and other concepts are extended to the projective geometry of the plane by use of homogeneous projective coordinates. Collineations, conics, correlations, duality, pole and polar theory, and non-Euclidean geometry are treated by projective methods. Prerequisite: MATH 125. 3 credits*
