This course introduces the importance and holistic nature of the six dimensions of personal wellness and fitness. The course will provide the necessary knowledge and skills to make informed decisions which will lead to the development of a healthy lifestyle. Various issues related to the dimensions of wellness will be discussed. Students will have the opportunity to assess their current health status and identify potential risk factors. Labunderstanding about one's personal fitness level as well as learn a variety of skills to enhance personal wellness. Lecture, 1 hour per week; laboratory activities, 2 hours per week. 2 credits ( 1 credit lecture, 1 credit lab)
